Kanchipuram sarees are loved all around the country. They are exclusively picked up for weddings, festivities and even temple visits. Our celebrities also can’t resist its charm and many of them can hardly let it go. The latest celebrity to express her love for the silks is actress Suhasini Hasan. She was seen wearing a pink Kanchipuram saree by Mayukha Fabs on the occasion of Diwali.

Though it has a silk base, the saree has its beauty attributed to the kalamkari work on itself depicting a forgotten era. While the body is designed in hand paintings, the black contrast border is zari worked with temple motifs. She paired it with a plain pink blouse to retain the saree’s grandeur.
Her accessories included a set of gold earrings, a pair of neckpieces and a set if bangles. A gajra-adorned bun with a black bindi and nude lips completed the look.
